NAVEGACIÓN DE PACIENTES INTERNATIONAL, INC. (NPI)

NPI is a nonprofit organization, registered in Boston, Massachusetts, that has been training and certifying patient navigators in Spanish in Latin America since 2016.


Recently (In 2022), NPI signed a formal agreement with the Istmo University in Guatemala, where the university has endorsed our training curriculum. This curriculum is based mainly on George Washington Cancer Center’s Patient Navigation Guide.

Thanks to the Berny A. Samayoa grant, NPI has trained more than 90 patient navigators and certified more than 80 hailing from seven countries in Latin America. These patient navigators have supported more than 300 patients.
